Dr. Gary Partnow

Owner/Optometrist

When Dr. Gary became an optometrist, his goal was to eventually own a private practice where he would be able to treat patients with the attention and care they deserved. As the proud owner of Five Parks Vision and Eye Care, his vision has become a reality!

Dr. Gary grew up in Brooklyn, NY with a father who was blind in one eye, so at a young age he realized the importance and value of vision. He would eventually go on to study at The Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, before relocating to Colorado. Once there, he became a cover doctor for a corporate vision company that served the entire state. This experience helped him learn how to take better care of his patients and see them more as people and not simply as just numbers.

There are many facets of optometry that bring Dr. Gary joy. He loves being able to make people happy by improving their eye health from infections, prescribing them contact lenses and helping dry eye patients be more comfortable. He also looks forward to the interesting conversations he has with his patients. 

Before he became an optometrist, Dr. Gary had seen and done it all. He has been a police officer, a firefighter, an EMT, a ski patrol/security and has even been a Helicopter Tactical Flight Officer!

Our Care Team

Our care team consists of our receptionist, certified optometric assistant and frame stylists. These friendly, experienced staff members collaborate to provide high-quality, efficient eye care to meet the needs of patients and families.
